At Moneysupermarket, I have worked as a Visual Designer, balancing branding and creative projects with a proactive approach to expanding my expertise in UI design. This dual focus has allowed me to refine both the aesthetic and functional elements of the brand’s digital presence.
Included here are a few screenshots showcasing highlights from my time at Moneysupermarket. My contributions span a variety of projects, including designing numerous landing and campaign pages using Shorthand, a CMS specifically tailored for interactive storytelling. These projects required a focus on creating visually captivating, user-friendly designs that aligned with the goals of each campaign.
A particular highlight was designing a tool to help users search for electric vehicles (EVs), providing a clear and intuitive interface to guide users in their decision-making process. I was also deeply involved in the UI design of the newly reimagined Moneysupermarket app. This redesign was built from the ground up with a greater emphasis on customer experience, incorporating features such as a new rewards program designed to drive engagement and deliver added value to users.
These projects, combined with close collaboration with cross-functional teams, have enabled me to refine my skills in crafting user-centric experiences while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Booking.com & Rentalcars.com
My next role began at Rentalcars.com, which later became part of Booking.com following its acquisition. Initially, I worked as a Digital Designer, focusing on white-labelling the Rentalcars platform for airline partners, tailoring the user experience to fit their branding while maintaining seamless functionality.
After transitioning to Booking.com, I moved into a Brand Design role, though I continued to contribute to UI design on several key projects. One of the highlights was designing a fully responsive landing page for a UEFA sponsorship campaign. The campaign centred around a competition to win an unforgettable stay in a room overlooking the pitch during the final match—a unique and engaging user experience that required both creativity and precision to execute effectively.
Another standout project was the complete redesign of the Booking.com careers website. This involved creating a fully responsive design that met the demands of a tight deadline while working within the constraints of the company’s existing CMS. This project was an excellent opportunity to balance creative ambition with practical limitations, ensuring a polished and functional result that aligned with the brand’s global standards.

Kudos Web Design
I began my career at a web design agency, where I worked under the guidance of a Head Designer for a year. When he departed, I assumed full responsibility for the design function within the agency. Our primary focus was on designing eCommerce websites, but we also delivered projects such as landing pages, portfolio sites, and microsites for various campaigns.
The websites were developed using platforms like Drupal and Magento, with a dedicated development team handling the coding. My role involved direct client engagement—understanding their needs, defining the user experience (UX) for entire sites, and developing comprehensive branding and design systems. Once my designs were finalised, I collaborated closely with developers to ensure a seamless handover and execution.
All our projects were responsive by design, ensuring optimal performance across devices—a concept that was still gaining traction at the time. I gained invaluable experience here, from effectively communicating with stakeholders to mastering core design principles. Using tools like Photoshop (then the industry standard), I honed my skills in designing layouts, creating wireframes, and utilising grid systems to ensure responsive functionality. This role provided a solid foundation in both UX/UI design and the art of balancing creative vision with technical feasibility.
